WYB: Hood handle

Does anyone have a damaged/pitted/not-that-great 356A style hood handle that they want to sell? Doesn't have to be that great, I just want to replace the 356B/C one that's on the car now. THAT one is TRULY in terrible condition ! ! !

I've got a never used rechromed B/C that I'll sell for $40.00.
It cost me $100.00 to have it rechromed

TC, I don't have an extra but in the past I sanded one smoth, primed,filled, silver paint
and then poly cleared. It looked great. Not chrome but it matched the bumper guards
and other trim pretty well.

THAT'S what I was hoping to do. The only thing is, that I presently have a "C" handle on the car, and I'm looking around for an "A" handle instead.

With all the alterations that I'm planning, the "C" has too much "presence", it stands out too much as what it is and what it does. It will interfere with the "look" that I hoping to achieve with this new project.

The "A" handles seem to blend in better, almost diminishes into an accent spear that houses the crest, rather than a functionl lift handle for the hood.

So . . . that's why I casting about for a way less than perfect "A" hood handle.

Lower that price just a smidge "chrome has pitting" and include the shipping and I'll take it . . .

Otherwise I'm gona buy Gary's "It cost me $100.00 to have it rechromed" and trade it with John Willhoit for a nice aluminum one which will probably include the Porsche crest .

So, I'll pull the crest, lightly hit it with jeweler's rouge, clear coat it and put it up here (or ebay) for sale OR trade for that Intermeccanica handle crest that I've been screaming for.
