Years ago France was the only country that used yellow headlights. Never could figure out why other than to be different. Guess I could see if you were in a rainy/foggy place. I don't think they would give good night vision.
I don’t think they’re legal here in Utah.
They’re not legal in California except as a fog light. Even then there are rules as to when they can be used.
I use a # 65 - #67 transparent park light bulb in the headlight housing, when the park lights are on the amber light washes over the clear headlight build to give a cool amber headlight / running light appearance. I will post a pic tonight .
The French yellow headlight story goes back to WWII when they thought if the Germans invaded they could distinquish them from the French by the headlight color.
