Got lots of pictures of the car, but none with me.  Wouldn't want to harm the camera, ya know.

EDIT: Here's one Tom Raymond took in '07 on the way back from doing the Tail of the Dragon.  The car still had chrome wheels back then.

EDIT #2: And the bottom one is from the same venue in '08.  You can almost tell who I am in this one.

What Kevin says x2. Boy, I love that lower grill on the back, along with the air vent on the rear wheel wells.  The front turn signal looks good too. I'd put an LED turn signal in the headlight well, where the day light is now and then, HID lights in the original turn signal grill area.

Thanks for sharing,  Art

Dealer supplied photo.  Go to get out and drive and shoot.  It is alot work though, the speedster in a one car garage, with our 3  other cars in line in the drive way. It was a real fire drill in the fall removing all the cars to a tiny street, just to get the 560SL, in to the garage for 5 minute to use the hoist to put the hardtop on for the winter. Then shuffle all the cars back in proper sequence.

Jim;

The 36 is the best boat Catalina ever built.  It helps  great  deal it was designed by Sparkman & Stephens, who also did many of the Swans.  We did some racing on SF Bay, that's a real hoot of a place to sail.

I too started out on a Hobie Cat.

I just got thru painting the lug nuts black, a small change, like that really looks great.  I too like those 914 wheels. They were one of the things that attracted me to the car.
