This is a wonderful thread and props to Gordon for starting it.
If you have never been to Carlisle this thread gives you a glimpse of the friendships, great times & great people and incredible entertainment this event truly is. This spring will be Alice's and my 9th Carlisle event and others have even more times to attend than that. I don't anticipate ever missing it for any reason.
I'm really stoked to bring Natalie again this year with her new 175hp engine, water-cooled heat, LED headlamps, and turn signal mirrors.
I'm really out of improvement ideas......until I see everyone else's ideas at Carlisle. Never fails :-)

Oh, and I haven't forgotten Cory calling Natalie the Exxon Valdez that one year, or Danny giving me moral support and looking over my shoulder the first thing the next morning as I fixed it, or the kindness of receiving a free valve cover gasket from another SOC member (I apologize for not remembering the name).
Or the time Lane helped me fix my brake pedal and Carey coming to my rescue when my wipers failed (due my stupidity) and really rescuing me when my trans imploded.
Another time, when it rained so hard that we were almost flooded into the hotel an a local member gave me a brand new car cover the night before (because I threw mine out accidentally while cleaning out my garage). Once again, ashamed that I can't remember the name.
I wish you both would step forward and take a bow so that I can have it in writing for my old brain.
